Evolution Gaming’s Q2 report shows another bumper H1 for the iGaming brand. Reporting on 2019 to date, the company has experienced significant growth however, it is not satisfied, and plans to continue pushing even harder during the rest of the year.
According to Evolution Gaming’s interim report on the first half of the year, the company’s revenue has increased by 45%. This is 5% higher than the growth they experienced for the same period last year. Its EBITDA increased to E42.7 million, up by 63%, with a 49.8% margin, declaring a profit of E34.5 million which translates into a per-share earnings of E0.19.
Growth has been attributed to the release of several new games that quickly found an enthusiastic audience, growth in the Nordics and UK, and favourable outlooks in Europe. Overall, the brand has seen an increase in player numbers, lower costs associated with staffing and growth into new markets through supply contracts.
US Expansion Plans
Having released all its new games for the year, Evolution Gaming plans to focus its development efforts on its Live studios in order to meet increasing demand. It has transferred its first tables to its new studio in Malta, and is expanding its Georgia premises. In addition, plans to increase the capacity of its New Jersey studio are underway, as well as the construction of a new studio in Pennsylvania.
Of course, the increased spending as a result of the rapid expansion in 2019 will affect the financial year's finishing numbers however the company is focused on meeting demand and widening the gap between itself and its competitors.
The company again won Live Casino Supplier of the Year. This is the tenth time it has taken this award at the EGR B2B Awards.
