Leading casino operator brand 888 Holdings has announced the appointment of Yariv Dafna as Chief Financial Officer. Dafna’s appointment marks the official replacement of the January-announced departure of Aviad Kobrine.
New CFO-elect Yariv Dafna will on November 1 officially step into his new role, 888 has confirmed. This will also effectively mark Kobrine’s last day in office. In addition to fulfilling his upcoming new role as Chief Financial Officer to the online gaming behemoth, Dafna will also serve on the company’s board.
New CFO Welcomed Onboard
888 Holdings chairman Brian Mattingly has following the official announcement extended his official congratulations towards Dafna, as well as adding that being in a position to welcome Dafna on board is to him (Mattingly) a delight and a pleasure.
What sealed the appointment deal, said Mattingly, was the fact that he is both experienced as well as hard driven to perform. This, explained the 888 chair, was what had made him a standout candidate for the position. Dafna joins 888 Holdings at a crucially important point in terms of the casino company’s growth and development process, added Mattingly.
The 888 chairman also thanked departing CFO Aviad Kobrine for those contributions and achievements secured by him during his 15 years spent serving the casino operator giant. Mattingly said the company wishes Kobrine every success for the future that now lies ahead of him.
Dafna Comes From Experience
As for the incoming Dafna, he joins the casino giant after having served big internet and innovation corporation Telit Communications in the capacity of president and director of finance.
Prior to his term spent serving Telit in the capacities of president and finance director, he served the same company in the roles of chief corporate development officer, chief operating officer, and chief financial officer, respectively.
Previous positions before his having joined Telit Communications in 2003 include a term spent working for Deloitte Israel as well as a time spent serving a local Israeli telecoms business by the name of Dai Telecom.
888 Holdings chief executive Itai Pazner also added a word of congratulations to the new-appointment announcement, saying that he too looked forward to working alongside Dafna as the casino company continues to focus on bringing to fulfilment its ongoing growth and expansion strategy.
